I didn't know where I was originally going with this wallpaper. It started out being something entirely different. I had another image from the rooftop scene and I was going to cut them at certain lengths to put on top the image you see here, and at the bottom of it.
I felt like it was going to be too much going on, and I really wanted the wicked colors I applied to it to really pop--so I got rid of them. I figured the only way to have a direct focal point for this was to just go with one image.
The background also offered itself to Peter. With the right effects on it and the right brightness levels, I was able to make the background really pop.
This almost reminds me of "Tron". Also I really like the brown/green/yellowish coloring to the bottom left of the wall. It produced itself through the effects and I think it's a real eye catcher. I also used the same color from there and applied some to the top right space after Peter's head. I figured it'd be nice to see that kind of color elsewhere in the piece.
I think I did a interesting job--especially considering that this is a movie from the 60s.
